Mandala workshop

Mandala workshop

Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means “circle”. Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes, and forms.

Mandalas represent the connection between our inner worlds and outer reality. Designing your own mandalas can be both inspirational and therapeutic.

Mandalas are more than just an easy and fun way to draw something pretty. They are also a form of guided meditation … As you’re working in sections, it’s basically just making consistent marks in a pattern. You can start as simple as you like.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art. Art therapy may focus on the creative art-making process itself, as therapy, or on the analysis of expression of the person through art.

The creative process involved in expressing one’s self artistically can help people to resolve issues as well as develop and manage their behaviours and feelings, reduce stress, and improve self-esteem and awareness.

This expressive art technique uses various art materials like paints, chalks, markers, etc to portray ones feelings on a sheet of paper or other mediums.

Below are the art techniques that would be conducted during the session:
• Mindful Mandala making
• Pastels and Paper drawing
• Mat designing
• Peer drawing
• Aroma and Art
• Breathing out with colour palette
• Questioning
• Doodling
• Self Analysis brochure design
• Live in the moment Painting

Mandala Art

Mandala Art

A mandala in Sanskrit means circle, and is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. In common use, “mandala” has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos, metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe.

All of us are carrying our Mandalas within in us waiting to connect with the right people at the right time! But what is most important is that we feel centered within in ourselves first. Intelligentsia invites you to attend this Mindfulness Workshop of creating and learning the Mandala Art.

Come, attend a two-hour workshop and learn the art of Mandalas… understanding, creating and coloring four different Mandala Forms! We strongly believe that any art form, however complicated, can be mastered if practiced under expert guidance along with step-by-step instructions. All participants will take home their compositions. The material will be provided at the venue, just bring along your enthusiasm and learning spirit!
