Stained Glass workshop – Intermediate Level
July 14 | 2:00 pm - July 15 | 5:30 pm
Stained Glass Intermediate level workshop
This monsoon season join us and embrace the art of stained glass by creating your very own ‘Terrarium’ using the tiffany-inspired copper-foil stained glass method.
This two- day workshop is a great way to learn the intermediate skills of designing/drawing your own pattern and using this to create your stained-glass masterpiece. Not only will you leave with your personally-designed stained glass artwork made with your own hands (and no doubt will be hugely proud of) it will bring in a touch of greenery to your humble abode! An alpine succulent for your personal terrarium will also be given.
You also get to choose from other designs like the Avengers/Superheroes/Birds/Butterflies or any other.
You will be assisted on how to use each of the precision tools, as well as with the techniques of glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering your piece together and towards the end of the class, you will be given useful tips on how to maintain the terrarium (if you choose to do this piece of art)
A glass of prosecco will be served if you desire, and plenty of tea and smiles guaranteed!
All Materials will be provided. This is an intermediate workshop; can be attended by people who have done stained glass earlier. The workshop can also be attended by beginners. The workshop will be restricted to a focussed group of 6 members at max.
Day & Dates: Saturday & Sunday – 14th/15th July
