Acrylic paints are one of the most versatile and exciting art mediums for beginner painters. The four-day Acrylic Painting comprehensive course is designed for absolute beginners and will cement a strong foundation in understanding the medium and its working with various tools.
Participants will be guided through the course to understand LIGHT and FORM, MIXING of colors, applying LAYERS of colors to get the exact subject, COMPOSITIONS, and much more.
You will learn to achieve a wide range of painting techniques using BRUSHES, SPONGE, FINGERS, PALETTE KNIVES.
Schedule:
Day 1: Friday, 16th October
Sponge Painting: Nature’s Reflection
Create subtle tones and understand new merging techniques using sponge and acrylic paints.
Day 2: Friday, 23rd October
Finger Painting: Red Poppies Painting
We are going to ditch the brushes and paint with our fingers. Feel more connected with your canvas and paints as you also get to bring out the child in you.
Day 3: Friday, 30th October
Palette Knife: Paint an Elegant Bouquet
Create textures on your canvas with this diverse tool. You can use flat brushes if you do not have palette knives.
Day 4: Friday, 6th November
Brush Painting: Paint a Vintage Balcony
Achieve a wide range of painting techniques using brushes on a canvas/ thick sheet.
So take an art break with us and have a little fun time!
Materials required:
- Canvas board OR canvas pad OR Thick drawing sheet – Recommended size: 8×10 inches/ 10×12 inches
- Acrylic colours
- Palette knife
- Paint Brushes Round
- Paint Brush Flat No. 8 (No. 7/9/10/11 will also work)
- Sponges
- Water bowl and Palette
Note: While it is recommended that you sign-up for the full course, you may enroll for one/two/three days.
Date: Starting on Fri, 16th Oct and end on Fri, 6th Nov
Day: Classes will be conducted on Fridays
