For pre-teens and teens, Bloom and Grow conducts Regular monthly Drawing and Painting Online Classes.

  • The online structured art classes are configured for older kids and will be conducted by Vinita Jalan.This Sunday, we will be learning “Still Life with Color Pencil Shading and understanding light and reflection” in the Sunday session.Age: Children of 9+ years of age

    About the Course –

  • The course concepts and curriculum include –
    • Sketching techniques like hatching, stippling etc.
    • Understanding geometrical shapes in drawing various artworks, simplifying a drawing by breaking it down into shapes
    • Still life drawings from pic and real life observations
    • Light and shadows
    • Landscapes and figures.
    • Perspective
    • Different well known artists and their styles and much more.
    • Mediums – Understanding colour pencils, oil pastels, watercolours, poster colours and their properties.
    • Understanding colours – warm, cool properties, hues and tones.
    • Different painting techniques of different mediums
    • Acrylic painting techniques like sponge dab technique, finger painting etc
    • Watercolor techniques like wet on wet, wet on dry, basic strokes and washes etc
    • Folk art – Indian and outside India like Warli, Gond, Madhubani, Aborginal etc.
    • Basic figure portraits
    • Well know artists and their work
    • Composition of artwork

    And much more.

    Classes happen every weekend – Saturdays and Sundays 12pm – 1pm.
