Acrylic paints are one of the most versatile and exciting art mediums for beginner painters. Participants will be guided through the course to understand LIGHT and FORM, MIXING of colors, applying LAYERS of colors to get the exact subject, COMPOSITIONS, and much more.

Materials required:

• Canvas board  OR canvas pad OR Thick drawing sheet  – Recommended size: 8×10 inches/ 10×12 inches
  
• Acrylic colors
• Palette knife
• Paint Brushes
• Sponges
• Water bowl and Palette

Through the program, we’ll cover key topics such as :

• Understanding colour wheel and colour relationships
• Mixing primary, secondary and tertiary colors
• Creating harmonious colour schemes and colour values
• Basic brushwork and brush techniques
• Layering and glazing techniques.
• Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques.
• Principles of composition, such as balance, focal point, and rhythm.
• Capturing form, light, and shadow in acrylic
• Techniques for painting landscape, including skies, trees and water.

You will learn to achieve a wide range of painting techniques. So take an art break with us and have a little fun time!
