Crochet Online Summer Camp Classes for Beginners
Unlock the art of crochet with us in our 5-day online course and transform yarn into masterpieces, from the comfort of your home. Classes will be held through live interactive sessions, and personalized guidance making it an absolutely Beginner-friendly workshop.
– Sessions : 5
– Age group : 12 years upwards
Materials Required:
–4-ply yarn in 4-5 colours
-8ply/ t shirt yarn (if possible)
–crochet hook size 4
-crochet hook size 8 (if possible)
-stitch marker/safety pin
-scissors
-paper and pen
CURRICULUM :
– Day 1
– Introduction to hooks, yarns etc
– Introduction to basic starting knots
– Slip knot, Chain and Single Crochet
Day 2
– Quick revision of previous stitches
– How to read pattern/instruction charts
– Start on a basic project: Hairband/Ear warmer
– Single Crochet Increase/Decrease
Day 3
– More on reading patterns.
– Single Crochet Decrease practice
– Magic ring
Day 4
-Changing colours
-Revision of previous stitches
-Project 2: Basket
Day 5
-Go over any unfinished topics
-Show each other finished work
-Questions and answers
Dates – Apr 8,11,15,18,22 – Tuesdays and Thursdays
