Silk Painting on Fabric -Beginner workshop in Bangalore
Learn to paint on silk this summer. This workshop introduces you to the beautiful and elegant form of textile art using watercolor technique. Gutta in different colors will be used for the workshop and you will learn the water-resist technique to apply it on the silk, forming beautiful designs.
These beautiful silk paintings can be framed to adorn your walls or can be made into cushion covers, sarees and stoles.
Your facilitator for this workshop, Kalpana Venson of KreativeMinds, has found her niche in the field of arts for over 10 years now and has been training students of all ages in silk painting, sketching, water colors, acrylic, soft pastels also in crafts of paper, pottery and quilling. She has been conducting in-depth silk painting classes since 3+ years and loves to help her students create magic on silk. Kalpana will explain the silk painting technique with a demonstration and will be followed by participants practicing on small silk cloth. They will then proceed to make the final painting on bigger silk cloth with Kalpana’s guidance.
So, come over for this workshop at Bloom and Grow on 30th March 2019. All material required for the workshop, will be provided.
