Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing coloured paper cut-outs on it. An old, old art form, dating back to the 12th century, it’s alive and kicking in the DIY craft world of today – because it is easy to do, because the end result is sheer eye-candy, and of course, because Pinterest!
Urban Ladder invites you to its brand new store at Domlur to discover the joy of creating. Walk in, spend two enthralling hours making your own decoupaged box, and take it back with you to doll up your home. Facilitators from ‘Bloom and Grow’ will teach
you this super interesting art form and ensure that you don’t varnish your clothes or nick your fingers in the heat of enthusiasm.
There are no prerequisites. You don’t have to be into DIY crafts. You don’t have to be the ‘artsy’ type, not even a little. If you haven’t held a stick of glue in your hand since primary school, no problem. Really, it’s time you discovered how fulfilling art can be!
Come over, so we can all decoupage the heck out of some boxes, and have fun churning up our creative sides.
