one-day photography workshop aimed at
demystifying the jargons of photography.
What will you learn in this session?
You’ll learn the meaning of the jargons used in the photography and
the practical use of each of the most common terms and techniques.
For whom is this session ?
It is for beginners in photography, who are interested in having more
control on how their photographs look and who want to learn the
meanings and practical use of the terms used in photography.
How is it taught ?
This will be conducted in two sessions. The morning session will be for theory, explanations and live demonstrations. The afternoon session will be for practicals where the participants will implement what they learnt in the morning session and get a feedback.
How long is the session?
This is planned to be a six-hour session.
What is different in this session?
This is aimed at making the beginners in photography (and those who want more control on their photographs) aware of the most useful techniques. We will pick some of the terms which affect the
photograph the most, understand what they mean and how to use
them to get exactly the effect you want.
This is NOT a session on composition, post processing or special effects.
How should I prepare / what should I bring along?
You should bring your camera and tripod. Your camera should have the ‘manual’ mode where you can set the aperture, shutter speed etc.
Please don’t being ‘point-and-shoot’ cameras which don’t have any
manual settings.
You can also bring a notebook and a pen if you like.

complex things in the simplest way.
