Join self taught artist and instructor Neetu for a fun filled exploration of DreamCatchers! Since it is an advanced level course, participants are expected to have knowledge of basic weave technique. You will learn to make the Dreamcatcher from the scratch.
Objectives:
Native Americans believe a dreamcatcher protects the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the centre of the dream catcher, and glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. The negative dreams would get caught up in the web, thus eliminating the “bad” dreams. What better way to absorb positivity than make one’s own dream catcher! Our objective is to create a beautiful dreamcatcher from the raw material, thereby exploring the world of creativity.
