The Program is meant for kids (8-12 years) to help them unravel the world around us in times of no or less travel.
One country/ region will be chosen for 1 program and we will cover the region’s history, culture, scientific inventions, folklore, food, art, music, and lifestyle through relatable activities/stories. For eg – From the movie Harry Potter and the sorcerer’s stone, there are destinations in Scotland that they can relate to.
Activities such as role-plays of scientists, film critic, video journalist, chef, musician, and many more.
10 weeks of regular high interactive sessions with a limited batch size of 12 to 15 children.
Guided project in small teams of 2 to 3 children.
Budgeting through virtual money and sustainable travel discussions.
Opportunity to interact with locals through virtual platforms.
The key focus areas are critical thinking, logical reasoning, respect for diversity, communication skills in diverse environments, budgeting, and more.

Origami is the art of paper folding often associated with Japanese Culture. “ Ori” in Japanese stands for “ to fold” and “ Gami” means paper.
Usually a square piece of paper is used to fold. Not much cutting is required.
Origami Crane has become the symbol of International peace.
Origami helps in improving the logical thinking and problem solving skills in children. They learn through trial and error.
Morever, it is a fun activity for children to appreciate the world around them.
What will be covered in the session?
An origami frame will be taught where kids can learn 8 modules and then arrange it in a pattern on cardboard. They can frame this piece.
Secondly, children will learn to make Japanese lady bookmarks which are a very popular gift item.
About the artist – Jayashree Mahapatra has been teaching art and craft to young and old for the past 18 years. She loves to dabble in origami where she belives one can explore a lot by yourself. Besides, Jayahsree does bead jewelry, Rajasthan murals and acrylics on canvas.
