Mastering control over water-to-paint ratio for precision
Advanced brushwork for intricate petal and leaf details
Exploring textures using unconventional tools (sponges, palette knives, salt)

*Floral Anatomy and Realism*
Studying detailed floral anatomy (roses, peonies, lilies)
Breaking complex flowers into layers for painting
Practicing realistic petal textures and veining techniques

*Complex Color Blending and Gradients*
Creating depth with multi-layered color blending
Techniques for seamless gradients in petals and leaves
Experimenting with unusual color palettes for creative florals

*Negative Painting Techniques*
Introduction to negative space painting for florals
Layering to achieve intricate foliage and background effects
Painting flowers emerging from negative space

*Dynamic Floral Compositions*
Understanding advanced composition principles (rule of thirds, golden ratio)
Arranging overlapping flowers for depth and interest
Balancing large and small elements in floral arrangements

*Transparent and Delicate Florals*
Painting delicate, transparent flowers (e.g., poppies, irises)
Layering and lifting techniques for soft, translucent effects
Focus on creating subtle shadows and highlights

*Backgrounds and Context*
Creating dynamic watercolor backgrounds (wet-on-wet, gradient, textured)
Integrating florals into abstract or scenic backgrounds
Balancing focus between flowers and background

*Exploring Different Styles*
Loose vs. hyper-realistic floral watercolors
Incorporating abstract or impressionistic elements
Creating unique personal styles while painting florals

Materials:
– Watercolours Cakes or Tubes
– Watercolour paper (Has to be watercolor, not regular paper – Brustro, canson, chitrapat, or any other watercolor paper brand)
– Round brushes and flat brush (8,12 round brush and 1/2 or 1inch flat brush)
– Closed palette for tube colors OR regular palette  for watercolor cakes
– 2 Water cups or bowl
– Rag cloth
– Masking tape (if you don’t have it then transparent cello tape)

Age: Adults and Children above 12 years who are proficient with basic watercolor techniques

Time:
Classes will be held on Sundays (5pm-6.30pm IST)

Fee: Rs 5000 for the 10-day course
