Modern calligraphy is any calligraphy that is not traditional calligraphy. Traditional calligraphy styles like Spencerian and Copperplate have been around for years, and you create them with very particular strokes and formations. Many people today have embraced traditional calligraphy styles, and it seems the traditional calligraphy community opinion splits on modern calligraphy.
Some traditionalists love the creativity that modern calligraphy allows. Others, however, dislike the deviation from order and rules. While the artist respect the latter traditionalist point of view, she thinks that modern calligraphy is amazing! Frida Kahlo De Rivera Was A Mexican Painter, Who Mostly Painted Self-Portraits. Inspired By Mexican Pop Culture, Participants Attending This Workshop May Decide To Paint A Self Portrait Or The Legend Herself As We Let Your Creative Interpretation Take Over.
Paint it Like FRIDA, is a workshop to pay homage to the greatest female artist of twentieth century, explore her fascinating life and take some inspiration from her works. You will be guided by Ruchi Bagrecha to create a Frida inspired self-portrait painting that tells a story of who you are.
Participants will be asked to think about symbolism that might reflect particular personal experiences or traits, loved ones, fears and dreams.
Participants will make a Self portrait painting on canvas using Acrylic paints, Brushes and knives.
You can choose from Frida Kahlo’s reference paintings to make a masterpiece of your own.

Take your handmade projects to the next level in this unique workshop which combines decoupage with wood roasting & burning to create a vintage aged wood plaque. This class loaded with techniques is a perfect session for novice & experienced crafters alike. You will receive start-to-finish instructions & technique tips to:
Use a blow torch

Reverse Decoupage and Crackle Effect on a Plate workshop in Bangalore
Looking to learn the perfect reverse decoupage? In this session, Participants will work on a glass plate and transform it into a unique creation in colours & designs of their choice.You will learn the technique of REVERSE DECOUPAGE that involves working on the back of the plate. Reverse decoupage is a technique when print and paints are applied underneath the glass. You may use the same technique to recycles/upcycle glass bottles.
We will also enhance the background with Crackle effect and build on layers by blending colors.
