In this workshop, we will be doing dot mandalas on bottles or paper You will be learning how to work on a curved or flat base and also methods of layering and sealing the dots.
Materials Required:
1. Clean glass bottle (preferably dark colored blue, brown or green) or Canvas/MDF primed with black acrylic paint
2. Acrylic colors, light, and bright shades. Like white, yellow, leaf green, red, orange, red, light blue.
3. Dot art tools, or if not available earbuds, pencil, toothpicks, round brush ends, etc will work also.
4. Rag cloth, water, safety pin

Shoe Painting – Online Workshop with Shailee’s Hand-painted Shoes
Convert a boring new pair of white canvas shoes into a ‘work of art.’ Or just revive an old pair and make it look new and colourful!
Acrylic paints are meant for canvas and they last as long as your shoes would. These painted shoes can even be washed and the paint will stay on!
These shoes make a great gifting idea and if you don’t feel like wearing them, they even look great displayed on the shelf!
Shifting your ‘canvas’ from regular surfaces like paper, fabric and stretched canvas to ‘a pair of shoes’ is very exciting! It gives you an opportunity to pick a new hobby, broaden your artistic horizon onto a new surface and do something that not many people do.
Materials required:
– Canvas shoes (could be new or used. If used, they need to be washed and dried before painting)
– Acrylic paints
– Paint brushes (round brushes no.0, 2 and a flat brush thick enough for base coat, if required)
– Water bowl and palette
– Rag or tissue to wipe and clean brushes
– Old cloth or newspaper for packing so that the shoe stays in shape while painting
About the Artist:
Shailee is an artist and designer who has been painting canvas shoes since 2012. Her shoes have traveled all over the world and she continues to take orders for custom painted accessories! She has also been practicing Indian Folk Art and loves experimenting with different Indian art forms, by painting these on various products.

Reverse Decoupage and Image Transfer – Exhaustive Demonstration Live Session
Participants will learn the following two techniques in the sessions:
1) Reverse decoupage is a technique when print and paints are applied underneath the glass. Reverse decoupage will add a wonderful dimension to your crafting skills. We will learn the reverse decoupage on a plate. Post the session, You may use the same technique to recycles/upcycle glass bottles.
2) Image Transfer is the art of transferring the print on to the surface. After attending the session, you will be able to use this technique on any possible type of surface such as canvas, metal, the glass you will be able to transfer an image on the surface you want to!
