Holi Hues – Beginners Workshop in Bangalore
Holi Hues – Beginners Workshop in Bangalore
HOLI- a festival that celebrates native colours that surrounds us and brings us closer to the natural world and lets us be sensitive to the subtle changes. To rejoice and be grateful for all the hard work of a good harvest through playful use of petals, leaves and roots and welcome the onset of spring.
Historically flowers and nature’s discards were used to rejuvenate the skin and embrace the body to the climatic changes. Modern living has changed the essence of the festival from plant colors to bright neon colors and chemical pigments that take away more from our skin than add to it.
MUUYEE as a brand practices slow and sustainable lifestyle, where we believe that every discard has its own purpose. We welcome you to a Holi that will leave you refreshed and glowing and makes sure that no chemical harm is done to you or to mother Earth.
We would be creating our own colour recipes from humble ingredients like turmeric, neem leaves, rose and marigold petals that would be ground together with the goodness of chickpea flour. (Besan)
Content of the workshop:
This workshop will be a colour journey to see hues of Red, Green and yellow coming to life with living ingredients. A dedicated station for each colour would be created, were in the participants can explore hands on how to make their own Holi hues.
Participants will get to explore their own recipes of natural Holi colors that can be mixed and used. The workshop will end with each participant taking back a set of three colors to play Holi with their loved ones in the most natural and organic way possible.
Take Away: A set of 3 Holi colours.
